Both One and the Other,298 words
Still only recently pulled from the ice, Steve can't choose. (Identity porn)
Close to Me, 534
Steve's a protector, always has been. It's only natural for him to want to hold Tony when they're sleeping, to curve his larger body over Tony's so Steve can shield him from anything that would hurt him, even when they're in the Tower and perfectly safe.
Apple Pie (of my eye), 826
It's in Tony's workshop, about five months after they moved in, where Steve stops and suddenly realizes just how attractive a certain someone is. Luckily or unluckily, he still can't decide which, Tony is oblivious and dense and Steve is, for the most part, okay. Except for the part that's in love. With Tony. Um.
Join Your Hand, 1k

This Grey House Where I come From, 4k
There was never any actual violence, nothing dramatic or traumatizing, so Tony doesn’t know why ancient history can occasionally make him feel nauseous, or why some of the most innocuous and nonthreatening things that come out of Steve’s mouth can make his breath stutter.

Here Comes the Rush, 6k
It’s been three years. Steve’s seen aliens, giant robots, and literal flying monkeys. He’s romanced a few women and even a man, moved into Stark Tower with a bunch of renegade do-gooders he’s more than a little fond of, and made peace with the fact that what he really wants is one Tony Stark. Now it’s time to do something about it.

The first time Tony met Captain America, he was riding a dinosaur. After that, things got weird.
So Strong a Thing, 13k
Sir Stephen Rogyrs is a farm boy from a noble family who has fallen on hard times. Crown Prince Anthony Edward Stark is the only son of King Howard and Queen Maria Stark, heir to Starkhold in the Avengard realm. He is a genius at alchemy and weaponry, but resents his duties to the throne. Steve and Tony clash at a page tryout, and they unknowingly spark a chain of events leading to a fast friendship and a lifelong love...(Eventually, that is.)
In All the World, 15k
In a world where Sentinels, people with five heightened senses, bond mentally and spiritually with Guides, people gifted with empathetic powers, Tony Stark has spent thirty-three years overwhelmed by the emotions of those around him and running from his own. Sentinel Steve Rogers wakes up sixty years out of his own time and struggles to deal with the massive amount of new sensory input while trying to find his footing in a New York very different from the one he knew. When they finally find each other, how will their bond change them?

Armor Fati, 15.7k
Tony Stark has always known what the words on his wrist are supposed to lead to. What he's never known is who the words are for. 616 soulmate AU.
The Twice-Told Tale,16k
For someone he'd hero-worshipped for so long, Steve Rogers in the flesh is a pretty big disappointment. For one thing, he keeps looking at Tony as though he reminds him of someone else, and even if he never says anything, Tony's pretty sure it's his father. A lifetime of not measuring up to Howard's expectations is more than enough, thank you very much, and he's certainly not going to make an effort to live up to any of Steve's. Steve's pretty clearly failed to live up to his expectations, in any case, and that's not hypocritical at all.
We Don't Need a Heart of Gold, We Need the Heart of a Lion , 16k
'You know what's an interesting plot bunny? And I'm sorry in advance. If Captain America was an alternate personality of Steve's or vice versa.'
A Meeting of Minds, 17k
As it turns out, the Extremis hadn't quite finished rewriting Tony's brain. The only potential fix has...consequences.
Slipping Through the Years, 18k
The plane crash and subsequent ice might have killed him, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still around, haunting those he cares about. And since the only person who can see him is Tony Stark, death sure isn’t going to be boring.
Rock Splits, Records Fall Down, 18k
AU at the end of Ultimates 2. Time passes. The Ultimates try to work out where they're going and what they're doing, with a moderate level of success.
Keep Your Enemies Closer, 18.5k
Tony, fed up with the corruption in the superhero business, becomes a supervillain. SHIELD calls in Steve Rogers to fight him, which would be fine - if they didn't also ask Tony Stark to help as an engineering specialist.
Float like a Butterfly (sting like a bee), 19k
Steve Rogers is looking for a new Team and signs with Nick Fury in his quest to climb back in the professional boxing ranks after a 5 years break. When he realizes Fury's gym is owned by Tony Stark, billionaire-playboy-entrepreneur and up-and-coming boxer, sparks fly and not in a good way. At least at first.
Genius After All, 20k
After an incredible night of passion with Steve nearly gets Tony killed, their friendship is in shambles. Did that night damage their relationship beyond repair or will Tony prove to be a genius after all?
The Reason You Ruminate the Shadowy Past, 21k
So, Captain America effectively manages to cockblock Tony for a year. It's not Steve's fault. Well, actually, it is. But he was just proving a point - that if a superhero is gay, how can it be wrong? Steve just picked the wrong superhero to make the point with. Now America will think they're dating - and Tony's not going to be the guy to break Captain America's heart. There's only one way out. To save face, Steve and Tony have to become fake boyfriends. Steve thinks the "boyfriends" bit will be the hardest to act... but maybe it's the "fake" part that will be the hardest act of all...
Routine, 22k
Since waking from the ice, Steve has developed an increasingly difficult case of OCD. Not wanting to be a burden, he doesn't tell anyone of his troubles and always keeps his teammates at a safe distance, not getting too close to any of them. He's struggling just to keep his head above water when Tony catches him in one of his compulsions, and refuses to be pushed away.
The Best Policy, 23k
Tony Stark breezes through life on bluster and bullshit. When he gets hit by a truth spell, he locks himself away in his workshop so he can find a way to reverse it without anyone finding out. So why can't he say no when Steve keeps asking to spend time with him?
But Loving Him is Red, 25k
"It is- it is not just destined, Steve Rogers. It will reach through the decades, through entire universes if it has to. It will scour the galaxies without rest until the two of you are standing next to each other. Migardians-
Migardians call them soulmates, I believe."
The Most Amazing Things (some terrible lie), 26.5k
Tony's decision not to reveal his identity as Iron Man to the world was shrewd and calculated. Too bad it's about to backfire on him like a Jericho missile.
The World That Forgot Tony Stark, 27k
There's a reason Tony hates magic. And it's a good one. He's never been so glad for the fanfare his name has caused. Because it means the world knows him. Unlike this one.
The Man with the Clockwork Heart, 30k
A de-anon (finally) from the capkink meme. His village destroyed by the northern Empire, Steve Rogers is sold as a slave to Lord Tony Stark, a man with no heart but a ticking clockwork machine inside his chest. He's been told that Lord Stark takes pleasure slaves, and bitter, grieving, and terrified, he expects nothing more of a northerner. But months pass, and Stark does nothing. In a rapidly unfolding chaos of scheming politics and a clockwork world, Steve begins to wonder what sort of man Stark is-- and whether he'd mind being a pleasure slave at all.
Confidence Trick, 30.4k
FBI Agent Steve Rogers and his partner Sam Wilson have spent the last couple of years just a few steps behind the high-end art thief and hacker known as Iron Man. When someone starts using Steve's connections to hack into the FBI mainframe, he knows there's only one person it could be. But the hacking is only the beginning, and the game Iron Man is playing promises to get them closer than ever before.
Looking for Heaven, 31.9k
When young Lord Anthony Stark learns Steven Rogers has enlisted in the army, he thinks he's seen the last of his tiny, headstrong, haughty stable boy. But four years later, Lord Stark gets an unexpected visit from Steve, whose mother has fallen gravely ill and into financial ruin. Even more unexpected, Steve agrees to a shocking proposal: they will marry, giving Steve the necessary funds to save his mother, and Tony the much-needed reprieve from harassing would-be suitors. It is a business arrangement, nothing more. But as time goes on and circumstances arise, Tony begins to learn that keeping his heart away from his husband is easier said than done.
One Foot in (and one foot back), 32.5k
This isn't the worst thing that's ever happened to Tony, but it's in the top five. Imprinting, soulmate AU
Look Here, Look Back, Look Ahead, 33k
September, 1941: Returning from a mission as Iron Man, Tony Stark crash-lands in the Carpathian Mountains and is rescued by Captain America. The two heroes team up to investigate Nazi activity at a mysterious castle. But Captain America is keeping secrets that could destroy their new partnership before it has a chance to begin.
The Emperor’s Fury, 40k
Steve is an ex-gladiator. Tony wears a toga. Together, they litigate civil cases. Also a surprising amount of boating.
The Last Love Song of Anthony E. Stark , 42k
After contracting an Asgardian virus, Tony starts forgetting things. And people. And Steve.
Catch a Falling Star, 43kWhen Tony was sixteen, he got to meet his hero, Captain Steve Rogers, the Empire's not-literally-golden boy from the Continuity Wars. When he was twenty-seven, the aforementioned Captain turned Pirate picked him up at the outer edges of space. It would have been a good time to appreciate the abundant nudity that came from spending too much time with space colonists, but Tony had bigger worries than even Rogers' amazing hip-to-shoulder ratio. Something was sending the star-encircling computers that power the galaxy into a tailspin, and it was going to take a lot more than luck and skill to clean the mess up.
Indelible, 43.8kWhen an experiment goes awry, Tony thinks he may have found an answer to his problems and Steve faces something he's been avoiding for a very long time.
Weighing of the Heart46.7kSteve Rogers hasn't really had a particularly easy life. He's struggled along, he's proud of himself, he's self-sufficient and capable and he works damn hard. He has friends and a purpose and he's only a few semesters from graduating college. He's managed, but his life has been far from easy. That's mostly because of a slight filing error. The last thing that Steve needed was someone to watch over him. The only thing that his Guardian Angel needs is a second chance to make a first impression.
Someone to Love, 47kWhat does it matter that it’d been because of Loki and his damn magic? He’d fallen in love with Steve once. He can do it again.
As Sharp as Any Thorn, 47kIt’s four days to Christmas, there’s a city in shambles, and the nation is in mourning because of the actions of a single man.
Come the Winter (come the storm), 49kTony Stark, an unremarkable day laborer in the gulag in Izhma, has been deemed too much of a liability to be allowed to remain in Soviet control. Steve Rogers, one of SHIELD's top operatives, is sent undercover into one of the USSR's many internment camps with the specific instructions to retrieve him. The plan was simple, which, in hindsight was the first indication that everything was about to fall apart.
If We Never Got This Second Chance, 50kWhen Tony and Steve’s son from the future, Jake Jensen, arrives at Avenger’s Tower, the two of them are forced to confront some hard truths: Tony that he might not actually become a horrible father, and Steve that he might not be able to set aside his discomfort with sharing a child with another man. When they both get a second chance at a first try at fatherhood, it’s up to the two of them to learn from their own future's past.
And I'd Buy A Big House Where We Both Could Live 60kMissing: Tony Stark, billionaire businessman, heir to Stark Industries, reward: none Only Steve didn't know that when he picked up the waterlogged unconscious man from the bank of a river.
I (created from fantasies) Exist Solely for You, 63kSix years ago, without the Avengers Initiative there to save the day, scientist Dr. Eric Selvig sacrificed himself to save the world, the almighty demi-god Thor was lost to a terrible storm, and vigilante Iron Man – spotted with a nuclear weapon trying to take advantage of the situation – was forever labelled an enemy of SHIELD. This is a comic book office AU, where Steve is defrosted a year too late, Thor has forgotten who he is, and no one knows Tony is Iron Man. Also includes: office pranks, inappropriate post-it notes, and superheroes who like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain
Saving the World (Is Totally a Date), 64.5kTony discovers Stane's betrayal while he's still being held captive. When he escapes, he sets out to ruin Stane as completely and ruthlessly as he can, playing up his PTSD and quitting his job to destroy Stane quietly from the outside. He also picks up a teaching job-all Pepper's fault-and oh, right, becomes a supervillain. Okay, that one was Tony's fault, but it was totally an accident. In the meantime, a certain Capsicle is defrosted a year early, and is assigned the task of capturing the notorious Iron Man. It's not going particularly well, if the embarrassingly high number of times he's been kidnapped in the past six months is any indication. When SHIELD decides to help him adjust by getting him a teaching job, Steve is skeptical; but then there's Tony, and Steve finds he doesn't mind the 21st century so much after all.
Relavistic Heat Conduction, 69kAge of Ultron-based, but not entirely canon compliant. Written for the 2013 Cap-Iron Man Reverse Big Bang. Ultron has attacked, obliterating most of the world's superheroes and resistance in a matter of hours. The remaining heroes band together and share what strength they have to get through it, to survive, and defeat Ultron once and for all. Steve Rogers grieves in the wake of the disaster and the heroes' defeat, and no one knows if he will be able to provide the leadership they need--but Tony Stark isn't about to let him slip away that easily.
Standard Deviation, 70kOkay, so maybe Steve isn't Professor Stark's biggest fan at the start of term but first impressions can be mistaken. Now Steve doesn't care what Clint says, Tony is not his boyfriend.
Worshiping at the Modern Altar, 84kThe Avengers get mixed up in someone's quest for revenge. Secret experiments and combustive team dynamics don’t get them anywhere closer to discovering the truth about the person behind the chaos. The team is taken apart from the inside out and left to bleed.
This was a PWP that a plot latched onto like some kind of monstrous leech. Since it turned out to be a really good leech the longer I worked on it, I let it grow. The first chapter is purely sex. If you want to skip to plot, head to chapter two.
The Act of Creation (Will be Your Salvation), 84.6kWhen Tony Stark was seventeen years old, he built his first AI. On that day, he ceased to be his father's creation, and became a creating force in his own right. That one act likely saved his life, and not always in the most obvious ways.
This Time Tomorrow(where were we?), 85kTony goes to see Wanda, and suddenly Steve is alive and there are Skrulls! Or maybe Tony is just going crazy. Nothing happens in this fic, until the very end. Seriously. There's a lot of talking, mostly at inopportune moments, Tony's views on the acceptable gifts to give people are slightly different from everyone else's and he spends more time than would seem necessary being (half-)naked. What else is new?
Long
Even the Light is an Illusion, 102kDeath threats are an unfortunate side-effect of being Tony Stark, so he's learned to ignore them. The problem is, when someone really wants you dead, hiding your head in the sand just kinda exposes your ass.
But it's not just Tony's behind on the line. Whoever wants him dead wants him to suffer first, and they're willing to do anything to make that happen. Tony knows there's only one way out. To save Steve, the Avengers, and the general public, Tony has to die. Of course, death isn't always the end, and Tony does what any other self-disrespecting scientist would do: he finds a way to fake his death and avenge his own murder.
The trouble is, terrible decisions usually have a terrible price, and this one is no different. Tony has a chance to save the day, but the cost may be more than Tony was ever expecting to pay…
NC-17:
Fantasy, 867Steve has a fantasy, a very private alpha's fantasy...
Insatiable, 1.4kHe’d never known he could miss something so much, could want something . . . so much.
En Suite, 1.4k"Tony/Steve. Shower sex."
Hours Not Wasted, 1.5kSteve is Tony’s imprinted submissive, and Tony has a little too much fun teasing him in bed. D/s world that I may play around with more in the future?
Good Game, 1.5kSteve had an ass like...it could make Tony write sonnets if he did that sort of thing, he was sure. Really bad ones, with phrases like "unyielding spheres of rapture," so it was a good thing he's no poet.
Cry Uncle, 1.6kTony chuckled, flipping up his mask so that Steve could feel Tony's breath on his ear as he whispered, "But Cap, I promised that I'd make you beg for mercy." Steve's eyes widened, his body going taut as a bowstring in anticipation of being drawn.
No Other Explanation, 2kTony Stark is always onstage. He plays different parts. Even in his mind, Steve knows—because there is no other explanation for the differences in his kisses.
Need, 2.2kSteve paces around their room, running his hands through his hair and back over his neck. He feels like he’s burning, the catch in his veins heady and desirable.
On the Clock, 2.2kTony likes propositions. Steve likes teasing. They both forget about the toaster.
Lacy Red Underwear, 2.8kSteve swallows, fingers tapping anxiously at his lace-covered thighs, which only makes him more nervous. He can do this. He’s Captain America. He’s punched Hitler in the face. He can have sex with his boyfriend in lacy lingerie.
Leave Your Marks Written Upon My Skin, 2.9k“I want you to keep your hands right here, alright?”
Lack of Restraint2.9k“I want you to tie me up,” Steve says finally, voice steady even as he refuses to meet Tony’s eyes.
I Get a Kick Out of You, 3.2kHe looks Steve over. He's flushed—red-faced, tousle-haired, and completely out of breath. Something is definitely wrong. Tony's first thought is this isn’t possible, quickly followed by how does this pick-up line go again?
Until There’s Nothing Left, 3.3k“I don’t know about this,” Steve says as Tony closes the manacle around his wrist, fingers twitching at the steely snick. It’s a long time before he can look away.
Never Going to be the Same, 4kFighting crime and wanton hero-on-hero violence is far safer for the world at large than the Avengers bored.
Distractions, 4.2kSteve should really think before he plays with Tony's toys.
Going Under, 4.4kWhen it was too hot for even Captain America to go for his morning run, that was just too damn hot. But Steve just shrugged and said he would have to find some other way to get his morning exercise. Which is how he and Tony ended up in the pool.
Look at Where We Are, 4.6kThere is a paint fight. And then there is porn. That is all. (This is a continuation of Silence Suppression but can be read on its own.)
Doctor's Note Required, 4.9kThey're on a mission together, and Tony gets hit on the head and gets temporary amnesia, and hits on Steve flagrantly cause he can't remember why not. Steve, knowing of Tony's myriad girlfriends and being slightly out of date with How Orientation Works, thinks Tony's head injury has made him gay, and struggles manfully to prevent himself taking advantage of Tony's altered state. Even when Tony gets his memory back.
A Touch of Lace, 4.9kSteve closed his eyes, rubbing at them with one hand. He was sitting in his bedroom, talking to a machine about buying custom made high heels so that he could play dress up for Tony.
Welcome to the World of Tomorrow, 5kThe future is bright. And has ball-gags, apparently.
Meow Steve, Meow, 5.2kLoki decides to try a new something at Tony, only it backfires when Steve jumps in the way and the spell is halved. So, Tony decides to try and find out if Steve has what Tony think he has, and one thing leads to another.
He Makes Dirty Words Sound Pretty, 5.7kTony's been away on business for two weeks. And when he comes home, he discovers just how much Steve had been needing him.
Promises, 6kSteve has super stamina and Tony keeps coming way before he's done, so in the end Steve just sticks a cock ring on him and goes at him.
Drunk a Lot of Drink Me, 8.7kFirst there was the party, with Valkyries and Tony dancing on the table, and Asgardian liquor that was a lot stronger than it seemed, and maybe Steve was a bit tipsy talking to the pretty lady who brought the apple-tasting stuff, but exactly how he woke up here, and looking like this is still mortifyingly unclear... As is what he's going to do about it. (Gender-swap!Steve)
As Long As You’re Mine, 9kTony goes to a bar, meets a girl and gets a person thrown at his head, none of which is his fault. Then he comes home and talks to Steve. The couch will never be the same.
Whatever You Ask, 19kSometimes Steve just wants to let go. Tony's perfectly willing to help with that. The two of them try something Steve's been wanting for a while. Basically PWP with added feelings, established relationship.
